note to self: those are called gurney flaps and not ducktails as it is colloquially called in the philippines. what does it do - you ask? well, nothing much. it just enhances the wing for further downforce. check wikipedia on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurney_flap for further info.
but will it work on the rear end if it's not attached to an airfoil? hmmm. i wonder.

now im having thoughts if i should get an a17 lancer or an a15 colt.
the colt has a lighter body but the lancer's got power advantage and more option. although it's easier to slap a dohc 4g63 on a colt than on the lancer. another advantage is the parts availability and abundance of the lancer. although it's aerodynamic is inferior than that of the colt(basis would be the body curve). so much to consider!
