motorcycle sidemirrors for black pearl

i hang out mostly with purists who doesn't compromise. for them, all parts should be period correct at least. but i'll have to break that. i'm installing this motorcycle side mirrors, which are "periodically incorrect", if i may say so.

i can drive without the side mirrors so its not a big deal if i install one or not. so this one is purely aesthetics: something fancy. not that i wanna piss purists off, i just like it, is all. enters: to each his own!

ke30 "the black pearl" wants solex mikuni

yesterday morning, we were able to solve the idle problem of the corolla. bottom line: the little bugger doesnt want aisan.

at first, we tried the neighbor's solex we're servicing. it ran smoothly so we know the 4k has no problem and its all on the aisan that came with the engine. but after a 4-hour overhaul of the carb and other several aisans, still no idle. then we tried a shitty old, gas guzzling solex which we didn't even clean. and viola! finally, it's idling! so, we had a little fun run and see how its. verdict? no problem with the carbs, but the brakes has some issues. so that's next!

the day before, the windows were cleaned so its a little smooth this time, along with the front driver side mags and a little part of the front bumpers.

the registration went fine too. "not indicated" remains and i can still change color whenever i want(evil laugh)!

pending jobs:
- sparco bucket on driver and integra semi on passenger
- brakes
- last stage on paint
- front passenger glass(which is hard to find btw... arg!)

nuff for now, back to the garage!
